November 2026: Your Everyday Style

One outfit. One photo. Your chance to be featured.

We want to see what you actually wear. Not a professional fashion shoot, not an expensive designer wardrobe, and definitely not something you need to buy just for a competition.

Show us an outfit you put together yourself and genuinely enjoy wearing. It might be your favourite jeans-and-shirt combination, a clever work outfit, something you wore to dinner or a weekend look that just feels right.

This month’s theme is Your Everyday Style. Enter below for your chance to be featured on What to Wear.

The November challenge

  • Theme: Your Everyday Style
  • Entry: One photograph of yourself wearing your outfit
  • Who can enter: Australian residents aged 18 or over

  • Entries close: 30 November 2026, 11:59pm AEST

No purchase necessary. No social media following required. Just your outfit and a little explanation of why you like it.

What kind of outfit should you enter?

Anything you would genuinely wear in everyday life. We’re interested in how you put an outfit together, not how much you spent on it.

Everyday favourites

Jeans, dresses, skirts, trousers, sneakers, boots or sandals. Show us the combination you keep coming back to.

Dressed-up moments

A dinner outfit, a smart-casual work look or something you wore to a celebration. Tell us where you wore it.

Your own twist

Vintage finds, interesting colours, creative layering or an unexpected combination. We’d love to see it.

You don’t need a particular body type, professional camera or expensive outfit. A clear photograph taken on your phone is absolutely fine.

Enter the competition

Entering takes just a couple of minutes. Upload your outfit photograph, add your details and tell us why you like the look.

Photo requirements: JPG, PNG or WebP, maximum 5 MB. Please make sure you have permission from anyone else identifiable in your photograph.

What can you win?

One winning outfit will be selected for a dedicated feature on What to Wear and/or our social media channels.

We’ll share the outfit, explain what makes the combination work and credit you using your preferred first name or Instagram handle. You can also choose to remain anonymous.

There is no cash or physical prize. The prize is an editorial feature celebrating your personal style.

How we’ll choose the winner

Our editorial team will look for an outfit that feels personal, works for the occasion and offers other readers a useful styling idea.

  • Personal style: Does the outfit show an individual point of view?
  • Practicality: Does it suit where and when it was worn?
  • Creativity: Is there an interesting combination, detail or styling decision?
  • Explanation: Does the entrant help us understand why they chose it?

We won’t judge entries on the price of the clothing, the entrant’s appearance, body shape or camera quality.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to buy a new outfit?

No. We’d actually prefer you to show us something you already own and enjoy wearing.

Can I enter a photograph taken earlier?

Yes. It doesn’t need to be taken during November, provided it shows your own outfit and you have the necessary rights and permissions.

Can I enter more than once?

No. To keep judging straightforward and fair, we’re accepting one entry per person.

Does my face have to be visible?

No. We need to be able to see the outfit clearly, but your face doesn’t need to be shown.

Will my photograph automatically be published?

No. Submitting an entry doesn’t mean we’ll automatically publish it. We may contact selected entrants before featuring their photographs.
